Beckenham Village is located at 166 Colombo Street, Beckenham, Christchurch. The Village is located next to the Beckenham shopping centre which includes a medical centre, pharmacy and cafés, and it is a very short distance to a supermarket and library. Buses run directly outside the main gate to the city as well.
Offering peace of mind for everyday living. Our staff will create a diverse range of activities and events each month for your enjoyment. These can occur at the Archer Leisure Centre, or from time to time are hosted on our other Village sites by the residents there.
Archer’s special character with its Christian heritage also provides Chaplains who offer pastoral care and Christian services.
We will maintain a lovely gardens vista, deal with any maintenance issues as they arise, and provide with a personalised service for emergency situations, while maintaining a security presence over the village site.
If you need any medical support or care, Archer provides a weekly ‘Wellness Clinic’ for its residents, along with priority access to our Care Homes, for either short term care or fulltime residential care.

Capital Gain & Capital Loss: As a ‘Right To Occupy’ agreement isn’t a property purchase, and like most NZ retirement villages, Archer Villages do not offer residents a share of any capital gain, and any potential loss is borne solely by Archer Villages. Residents are effectively sheltered from the property market fluctuations.
On license termination date your weekly service fees reduce to 0% and the village undertake the refurbishment, marketing and resale of the villa.
