Here’s a wee snapshot of what life in Covid looks like in a rest home – mask wearing, social distancing, reading and discovering new games. We hope you are all keeping well. We are pleased to be able to open up to visitors once again and return to some form of normality.
Being isolated from loved ones during these Covid times can prove challenging, but our Wellness Team are working hard to keep our residents occupied. Some recent activities have included celebrating St Patrick’s Day with some Guinness and Baileys, a game of potato bowls and an outing to The Groynes where residents enjoyed sitting in the sun and a cup of tea.
Lockdown isn’t easy so to help cheer our Village Residents, Russ our Archer Chef, made some delicious cheese scones which the Wellness Team delivered to our three Villages.
They were really well received and we have included the recipe in case you’d like to try and make some yourself.
