Our Special Character/Vision
Our Special Character
Archer has a strong commitment to the Christian Faith. We aim to uphold those values of unconditional love and care, but welcome people from all walks of life.
Archer has been known for having a Christian approach to everything it does, and we encourage people to explore their own faith journey.
At Archer the Christian faith is openly expressed and people can meet and talk with others about their faith.
Partnerships with local churches and groups are valued and they contribute to the daily spiritual life of residents over our various sites.
Today we see ourselves as interdenominational but retain a special relationship with the Baptist Association of Canterbury and Westland.
Archer was founded with a Christian belief and set of values, but we welcome everyone from all walks of life.
At Archer we provide opportunities for people to explore faith and what it means to them, to discuss and consider the Christian faith, and make their own decisions from that.
We employ Chaplains who are involved in weekly life on our Archer sites. Our Chaplains are happy to meet with people as needed.
